What a wonderful weekend it was! Peel the Pumpkin 2018 “Under the Big Top” has ended and the official count of dancers for the weekend is 123. We welcomed dancers from 17 states and Washington DC, and the top five clubs participating were Times Squares (45), Independence Squares (16), Tech Squares (11), DC Lambda (9) and Rutgers Promenaders (4). Thank you all for dancing with us!
In addition to enjoying dancing with our staff callers that include Sandie Bryant, Betsy Gotta and Ted Lizotte, the Saturday night buffet dinner was a hit. Many people raved about the varied antipasto selections and delicious entrees. Of course the costume parade was one of the most creative in the last few years. The nor’easter that went by on Saturday did not dampen our dancing spirit at all.
