There are many opportunities to dance with Times Squares and our sister clubs in and around New York City and across the country. Which one is right for you?
Times Squares hosts a weekly Thursday dance called a Club Night, as well as a monthly Saturday dances. Once a year we hold a fly-in, called Peel the Pumpkin, where dancers from the region fly in and join us for a dance weekend. Classes for the Mainstream program usually run 12 weeks on Tuesdays, and are usually offered beginning in January and August. Classes for other programs (Plus, Advanced) are offered as needed. Free open houses are held throughout the year.
Times Squares belongs to the International Association of Gay Square Dance Clubs (IAGSDC), which sponsors an annual convention hosted by a different member club each year. The IAGSDC maintains a list of member’s websites where you can find schedules for their regularly scheduled dances and events.
We also belong to the Northern New Jersey Square Dance Association (NNJSDA). They sponsor monthly dances and an annual Mini-Fest. Their calendar lists members’ regularly scheduled dance events.
Our Club Calendar includes scheduling information not only for our own events, but for those frequented by many of our members. Please confirm information with the local club as dates, times and venues may change.
