Square dancing is not just old fashioned, according to this article and video from mic.com it’s popularity in the 1920’s was engineered as a tool of white supremacy. This is not the history that I am familiar with. I wonder how much of the article is true, how much is exaggerated, and how much is alt-left “fake news.” I’d be interested in hearing everyone’s reaction.
