A great social event! Times Squares members and their friends are invited to attend a free 45-minute tour of the photo exhibitof the Stonewall era, Love and Resistance, at the main branch of the New York Public Library on Wednesday, April 17that 6:00 PM.

Congratulations to Jim Babcock, Michael Coan, and Nadine Posner for being elected to the Times Squares Board. Since there was not a quorum at the meeting there will be a run-off election online through Survey Monkey to fill the last seat.

Come meet prospective members at our upcoming Dance Party/Open House events on January 25, January 29 and February 5.
We are more than half way to our fund-raising goal of $10,000 to march in the Stonewall 50 Parade. This will be an IAGSDC march with dancers from all over the country.
The A2/C1 dances on December 20 and December 27 have been cancelled. Enjoy the holidays and dance with us again on January 3, 2109. With such a long break between dances we’ll all be roaring to dance again in the new year.

Our darling Gina was fatally struck by a car while crossing a street in Millburn, NJ on Monday night (26 Nov.) Our thoughts are with her husband Steve and their family.
Visitation for Virginia (Gina) Thaler is Monday December 3 at the Daniel Schaefer Funeral Home from 10:00 AM to Noon. There will be a private graveside service later in the day. Schaefer Funeral Home is located at 4123 Fourth Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11232.
We will also be lighting a candle in her memory at class/night Tuesday December 4 at PS3.
Here, she is pictured with a smile and her mango juice at her graduation in May. While she was growing in confidence with the Mainstream level, she always maintained a positive attitude, and an almost perfect attendance. record. We will miss her gentleness.
We are expecting the first snow storm of the season in New York City. It promised to be a messy wintery wet snow, and the rain later will make traveling even more treacherous. We’ve decided to cancel the Advanced/C1 workshop tonight. Be safe and stay warm everyone!
